As far as I am concerned, art is magic! Really great creative expression, whether it’s a painting, a poem, or a performance, can get you applause, but it does something better and more important. It connects us by saying, “This is how I see the world. Do you see it too?” Being a Joyful Queer means using art to make those connections, inviting others into our world, and helping them feel a little less alone in theirs. Through creativity, we create joy - not just for ourselves, but for everyone who resonates with what we share.
