Finding and Losing Ourselves

Creativity is where we discover who we are and also where we let go of everything that holds us back. Art offers a space to explore our identities, express our truths, and connect with joy in ways words often can’t capture. In creating, we find pieces of ourselves we didn’t know were there, and in losing ourselves, we let our spirits soar. Being a Joyful Queer means embracing art as a path to both self-discovery and liberation, where joy and authenticity intertwine.
