Creativity starts with a spark of inspiration, and true artists know that it's the work that comes after we are inspired that brings our most important works to life. Having an idea is wonderful - it feels like a light bulb suddenly lighting up in your mind. Transforming that idea so it takes form in the world is the work of an artist, a musician, a writer, and other creative people. For Queer people, inspiration often comes from our unique experiences and perspectives - a flash of insight from a memory, a dream, or a shared moment. Once we find that spark, we channel it into action then celebrate the magic of inspiration and the satisfaction of hard work, knowing that together, they create something extraordinary.
