Facing rejection and the struggle to live authentically is often, unfortunately, something we can't get around - we have to go through hell. Joy doesn't come from avoiding the hard times but from knowing that they won’t last forever. Each step we take brings us closer to a place of light, connection, and self-discovery. Being a Joyful Queer means finding strength in the journey, even when it’s painful, and holding on to the knowledge that the destination is worth the struggle.
