Talent

Queer creativity often begins with questioning the rules - including who gets to be called “talented.” This quote flips that gatekeeping on its head. For so many of us, creativity isn’t something we were handed - it’s something we claimed, something we crafted. We’ve had to carve out space for our voices, build our own stages, and validate our own vision. Having a talent for having talent means believing in your creative worth even when others don’t recognize it. Queer joy lives in that belief - in the bold, brilliant act of making art not because we were told we could, but because we knew we had to.
