The Finish Line

"In choosing joy, the finish line dissolves into a different matter altogether."

The Finish Line
Inspiring Joy - Mary Anne Radmacher

Choosing joy shifts our perspective - it’s no longer about reaching some distant finish line but finding meaning and happiness in the journey itself. For Queer people, this can mean celebrating the small victories - the courage to show up, the beauty of authentic self-expression, and the connections we build along the way. Joy isn’t a destination - it’s how we live, moment by moment. Being a Joyful Queer means embracing this truth, letting go of the need to arrive somewhere, and instead finding fulfillment in the here and now.
