Things That Never Happen
Imagined sorrows and “what ifs” have a way of stealing our present joy. In Queer life, carrying worries about rejections that never happened or futures that never materialized can dim the brightness of today’s celebrations. By releasing those phantom burdens and focusing on the real moments unfolding around us - shared laughter, creative expression, acts of resilience, and genuine connection - we reclaim our capacity for delight. Letting go of imagined losses opens space for Queer joy to flourish in the here and now.
